Empire Poker
Review
Empire Poker is
a very large poker room with over 70,000 registered players.
There is a guaranteed total jackpot of $2 million each
month, built up by a daily flood of games guaranteeing prize
pools from $500 to $50,000 each hour of the day. Many poker
rooms claim to accommodate every player in their selection
of tournament, but is far too often not the actual case.
However, at Empire Poker, there really is a tournament for
every player's bankroll. Players can choose to enter
single table or multi-table tournaments, and have access to
all tournament rules posted on the website.
Poker games
include Texas Holdem, Omaha Hi, Omaha 8 or Better, Seven
Card Stud and Stud 8 or Better. The website explains
the rules of each game for those new to playing poker, or
simply to help refresh one's memory. There is even an
Empire Online Poker School that takes players through
helpful lessons taught by the 1991 World Series of Poker
champion, Brad Daugherty.
Although the
software is not as sharp as PlayTech's line, it is quite
realistic in its 3D mode. The download is quick and
easy, which the website walks players through step by step.
Previews are available, and show screen shots of the all the
different playing screens, including the poker room main
lobby. All playing tables are shown in the lobby and
describe such things as the total number players sitting at
the table, the names of the players, the number of players
waiting to play, and the pot size. Players can get on
the waiting list at any time, and will be automatically
notified when a seat becomes vacant for them.
When you
download the free software you will be given $25 Free to
play with - No strings attached. Any questions will be
answered by a customer support team available 24 hours a
day. And for every friend you refer to Empire Poker,
you will be given a $50 bonus. There is no limit, so
make the most of it by spreading the word.
